The study examined the issue of innovation with a focus on innovative diversified network in\nTanzania service firms. The study aim was to assess the effect of diversified network which\nregarded as innovation strategy in firmâ??s innovation performance. By empirically tested\nnetwork variables named collaboration, information exploration and exploitation and\ntechnology acquisition. The regression results indicated information exploration and\nexploitation to be highly significant network over collaboration and technical acquisition in\nservice firms in Tanzania. This imply that the service firms in Tanzania are tend to rely on\ninformation exploitation and exploration network compared to other networks such as\ncollaboration and technology acquisition. The study made contribution to the literature\nregarding innovation in developing countries in service firms, non-patentable innovative\nfirms in particular.
